Cake with marzipan and plum

Ingredients:

  •   800 grams. prunes
  •   125 grams. butter
  •   100 grams. marzipan
  •   125 grams. sugar
  •   3 eggs
  •   1 tablespoon almond liqueur or a few drops of almond essence
  •   4 tablespoons milk
  •   250 grams flour
  •   1/2 packet of baking powder

Method of preparation:


  1. Plums are washed and cleaned from stones. Cut into crescents and leave to drain.

  2. Soft butter shake with sugar until fluffy. To this was added martzipan, cut into small pieces and stir again.

  3. One by one, the eggs are added, and then the liquor and milk.

  4. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir constantly poured into other products. The result was a thick cake batter.

  5. The dough is poured into the buttered and dusted with flour pan and cover with pieces of plums.

  6. Cake bake 60-70min. in a preheated oven (180 degrees). After 40 minutes baking was better cover (not tightly) with aluminum foil to prevent burning on top.

  7. The finished cake to cool.
