English cake


Ingredients

5 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 packet of butter
1 baking powder
1 cup yogurt
Apricot jam
1 cup chopped walnuts
12 tablespoons sugar (for glaze)
vanilla

Method of preparation:

Yolks with the sugar is broken. Add the melted butter, vanilla, flour sifted with baking powder and yogurt. Pour into the pan, previously greased with butter and sprinkled with flour. Bake in a heated oven for 30 minutes.

Then coated with more jam and sprinkle with walnuts.

Proteins are broken down with 12 spoons of sugar in hard snow that melts on the cake. Go back in the oven and bake at 150 C to pinking.
